You were raised in land full of genie magic. Perhaps you summoned a genie by accident from a magic lamp. Maybe you disturbed an area protected by a Marid. A Dao may have saved you from a landslide. Or you bargained with an Efreet for fleeting wealth. The experience left you with a touch of magic in you and has changed how you view life.

Tongue of the Genie (1D4)

Depending on the interaction you had you became fluent in one of the dialects of Primordial. 1- Aquan (Marid) 2- Auran (Djinn) 3- Ignan (Efreet) 4- Terran (Dao)

Elemental Magic

A bit of the power of the Elemental Chaos leaked into you. You learn one of the following cantrips: Control Flames (Efreet), Frostbite (Marid), Gust (Djinn), Mold Earth (Dao).

Elemental Protection

The elements view you as one of your own and will bend to aid you in times of need. You can use a reaction to gain Resistance to one of the following damage types until the end of your next turn: Fire, Cold, Lightning, Poison. You can use this feature twice per long rest.

Touch of the Genie (1D4)

The power of the genie has influenced your personality. You act a bit like they do and take on their mannerisms. 1- I love a good deal and tend to be hot headed (Efreet). 2- I seek to control others and covet precious metals and gems (Dao). 3- I hate being restricted and honor my word (Djinn). 4- I am truly a delightful specimen, the sea is the only thing I could love more than myself (Marid).
