Celestial Eladrin are divided between Lesser and Greater Eladrin based on their powers and roles. While they all cooperate and fight evil they do respect the titles bestowed upon them by their mighty ancestors. While the terms greater and lesser are a bit crude it is a remnant of their wartime structure more so than a strict social hierarchy or metric for power.
Beings of Freedom and Beauty
Celestial Eladrin treasure their freedom and fight for freedom for others. They have a short temper for injustice and a deep hatred of Fiends, perhaps more so than any other Celestial being. They love themselves in a pure way and celebrate their beauty and seek to celebrate through seeking art and more beauty. While they can be wild they can be trusted to never take their antics too far or veer toward wickedness.
Saviors of the Multiverse
In the ancient past the Eladrin answered the call for war and battled the mind bending powers of the Obyriths of the Abyss. Their mighty army poured out of heaven and slayed and drove back the evils that had overrun most of the multiverse at that point. Celestial Eladrin are proud warriors with a grand heritage that is as much as their history as a part of their very being. To this day Celestial Eladrin have a visceral hatred of Fiends that burns bright within them. Many chose to roam the multiverse taking measures to ensure Fiends never have a chance to mount an invasion of that scale again.
