Arborean

Arboreans are evil beings that delight in the ritualistic sacrifice of humanoids to evil, carnivorous plants. They appear as humanoid plants with dark bark skin cloaked in dark robes. They hate fire and flee from its mere presence.

Sentient Humanoid Plants

Arboreans are sentient humanoid plant creatures. Their skin is brown and resembles the bark of a black walnut tree, allowing them to camouflage in wooded areas. They dressed in similarly camouflaged robes, sometimes stained with the blood of their victims. Their form can vary as much as any human’s form can, such as being tall and thin, short and squat, or having a curvaceous figure.

Hate the Burning Flame

The sting of fire triggers a primordial fear response in Arboreans. It causes them to instinctively flee as far and quickly as they can. Even open fire can cause them to pause and be overly cautious or even afraid. They take great pains or avoid or smother fire whenever it is found.

Evil Plant Worshipers

All Aboreans love and worship evil and carnivorous plants. They will stake out trails and frequented areas in the forest such as harvest spots for edible or medicinal plants and kidnap people and feed them to the plants they worship. They take great delight in this activity and seek out evil plants and mentally mark their locations to return and offer tribute to them.
