Dracotaur

The Dracotaurs are mighty dragon centaurs that are warlike and predatory to an excess. They are surprisingly smart and prefer to lay traps, set ambushes, and hit and run as they fight. They have a deep respect for dragons and a deeper hatred of Centaurs.

Predatory Nomads

Dracotaurs are sly and aggressive predators. They are typically merciless in battle, taking no prisoners and executing devastating ambushes and using hit and run tactics. They have an affinity for the study of sorcery due to their connection with draconic bloodlines. They have no towns or cities as they wander from hunting ground to hunting ground using portable buildings they strap to their sides.

Crested Dragon Centaurs

A dracotaur has a similar body structure to a centaur, with the upper body of a humanoid and the lower body of a wingless dragon. They have a 4‑ft-long tail ending in large spikes, which is mainly used for balance, but can also be used as a weapon. Male Dracotaurs possess crests on their heads, throats, and chests, which range in color from bright red to dark purple.

Primitive Tribal Society

Dracotaurs live in small tribes where the strong rule and many disputes between members are regular, though they do resolve the issues quickly when the time comes to hunt or wage war. They are a militant society that frequently wars with those they come across especially Centaurs whom they hate deeply. They kill all Centaurs on sight and feast upon their flesh in a bloody frenzy after slaying one. They view dragons as gods and worship them and would never dream of ever confronting one.
