Flesh Golem

The unholy creation of a profane creator, the Flesh Golem is doomed to a state of anger and pain. Stitched together from decaying corpses the Flesh Golem wanders without true purpose with no sign as to the end of their wretched existence.

Product of a Creator

Every Flesh Golem was made by someone. Be it for a noble cause or an act or pure evil, Flesh Golems endure hatred from all living beings due to their inherent wrongness. Some Flesh Golems can be more sentient than others and a few rare ones can pass as human though only on a cursory level. While their creators may try to give them a purpose it is almost always lost on their creation due to their loss of mental acuity.

The story of a Flesh Golem begins and ends with their creator. They cannot kill themselves, they cannot be killed by normal men and are doomed to endure with their pseudo immortality. The only thing that a Flesh Golem does not need to learn or be taught is that their creator can end their pain, their creator is the source of their suffering.

Unholy Abomination of Flesh

Stitched together from numerous corpses the inevitable decay of their components leads to mental retardation and unbearable agony. Often made from parts that do not fit right or are too far gone their very movements are awkward and painful. Most Flesh Golems are massive standing at 8 ft or more in height weighing at least 500 lbs. Their appearances can be varied though most creators prefer to use humans with rare exceptions. The rare almost unheard of Flesh Golems that can articulate higher thought express a war within themselves as the voices of their various components scream in agony at their unnatural forced coexistence.

Fire, Lightning, and Rage

Fire is the bane of every Flesh Golem, it halts the force that knits them back together and causes unbearable agony even above that of a normal burn. Flesh Golems hate and fear fire. Flesh Golems were animated by powerful electricity either natural or arcane in nature. Additional lightning can even empower and heal a Flesh Golem as it forces their components to work together.

The core of even a more tame Flesh Golem is rage. They hate life, they hate their creators, and above all they hate themselves. When pushed by pain a Flesh Golem becomes a berserking fiend with the might and fury of a damned soul pushed too far. They lay waste to all around them in a desperate attempt to make their pain cease if only for a moment.
