Genasi (Para)

Para-Genasi have a lineage containing two genies of different types and walk between worlds. They vary from their standard Genasi brethren in ability and behavior. The twin elements within them bring forth great affinity with their elements.

Varied as the Elemental Chaos

Para-Genasi share very little in common with standard Genasi and other Para-Genasi, even of their own kind. Their mixed blood makes their ancestors hesitant to aid them or even spiteful. They belong with no one but themselves. Their appearances can vary greatly with their elemental attributes manifesting differently for each individual. Maybe their hair is made of their Para-Element, or their eyes shine with a supernatural light, or their skin feels like their Para-Element.

Alone in a Large Multiverse

Para-Genasi are always alone. No one can understand them, not even their own kind. It is highly rare for more than one Para-Genasi to be born in a family or even to be born within the same century. Due to their mixed nature neither of their genie ancestors or even standard Genasi want anything to do with them. There are no Para-Genies and no one looking out for them but themselves.

Internal Conflict both Emotional and Elemental

Having two, often opposing elements within them drives Para-Elementals to fight and adventure out to unleash their pent up energy. Their emotional states are delicate often with wars being waged between split personalities often resulting in their somewhat infamous nature as troublemakers. Peace is a rare commodity for a Para-Elemental though they are loath to admit that peace is something that they desire.
