Like all Planetouched beings Genasi have a powerful link to the four Elemental Planes of either Air, Earth, Fire, or Water. They manifest elemental effects as easily as breathing. They are ever changing beings that hate being constrained and being under the rule of anyone or anything.
Elemental Heritage
Genasi are proud of their elemental nature and heritage. They are simply better than others on account of their power. It is not even worth comparing others to themselves for all fall short of their grandeur. Even touching a non Planetouched being can be a startling and uncomfortable experience for one so lofty. Their elemental nature tends to reflect their base emotional being.
Genasi are naturally ambitious and seek to expand their horizons and options for fun and diversions. They embrace their whole selves and never doubt that they are always superior no matter their form, no matter what changes they may go through.
Primal Beings of Chaos
Born of the powers of the Elemental Chaos, Genasi are constantly changing while loosely guided by the archetype of their element. They can even manifest multiple personalities that coincide with their varied forms that they are aware of and can consciously use to their advantage. For instance a Fire Genasi may have a fiery mane of hair in one form that is more flirtatious and adventurous and a bald headed form with a beard of flames that is boisterous and angry. They can use either form to manipulate groups to their advantage.
Artists and Craftsmen
Genasi are lovers of art and seek to hone their craft as they one up all around them. They deeply desire to have their talents in demand and applauded by all. While they may lack innate skills much like a Dwarf they will ceaselessly make pieces that are customized to a specific individual for they desire large and dependent customer bases that will never leave them for another. Their desire for perfectly designed items for the intended individual extends to the point that they will sabotage other works of theirs to ill suit those that try to copy the possessions of another who has their works.
