Harengon

Lucky and full of energy it is hard to keep a Harengon in the same place for long. They seem to always be just a few feet away from misfortune and always on a path to some new destination. They adapt almost completely to the company they keep and take in the culture and language of the area around them.

Exuberant Travelers and Linguists

Harengons are free-spirited travelers, and spread far and wide, and across many worlds of the Material Plane from their native Feywild. They truly embody the spirit of freedom and travel. They rarely stay in one place for long, and prefer to journey by foot. They seem to have a fascination with languages and do their best to learn the new languages around them when they come to a new place.

Rabbit Folk

Harengons are bipedal rabbit-like creatures with extended feet and prolonged ears. They have a variety of fur colorations. Harengons have keen senses and powerful legs. The Harengons' main characteristic is their energized personalities and tightly wound up musculature ready to spring into action at any given moment.

Formed by Company and Surroundings

A Harengon's world view and even personality is shaped by the company they kept. Those who travel with heroes become brave and ambitious, those who travel with brigands become mean and antagonistic, and those who travel alone while leaving new friends in their wake become freedom-loving and peaceful. Those Harengons who turned to banditry often travel in small groups, preferring to ambush or extort traveling parties with fewer members than their own, and quickly flee when a fight turns against them.
