Humans multiply like rabbits allowing them to overtake superior races through sheer number. They lack claws, fangs, and innate abilities. They really should have become prey, but their clever minds carved out a massive and indisputable place in the land and in history.
Endless Ambition and Innovation
Humans do not have innate specialization like Dwarves or abilities like the Elves. Their minds are their greatest asset along with their endless numbers. They strive to eclipse even the gods themselves in their pursuit for power and even gods have had to stamp out their accomplishments regularly to keep them in line.
Humans are a prideful lot that do not respect nature or the natural order. They see a dragon as a threat not an indomitable force of nature as most see them. They even see a god as something to use for their gain or even supplant for themselves. They are forever looking to plumb the depths of forbidden knowledge and seek out things that ought not be meddled with.

Humans have always seemed to have existed. They number among the Creator Races and are found in almost every other world and in many planes of existence. There are numerous theories as to their true origin but the fact remains that no one really knows.
