Thorn
Small defenders that take up arms like small knights to defend their Fey brethren. They use their plantlike powers to make weapons including their signature sword and potent arrows. They have no issue with using any tactics necessary in defense of their homes and their brethren.
Defenders of the Fey
The Thorns are the defenders of the Fey. They relentlessly track then attack any who dare meddle in the affairs of the Fey. If the attacker refuses to leave they will pursue them until they are forced to leave the territory of the Fey or until one of them is slain. They use a variety of attacks and weapons to subdue the attackers then bind them and drag them out of Fey land.
Small, Plantlike Fey
They appear as green or brown skinned small Fey with clothing made of leaves. The heads are shaped like the buds of nettle and end in soft serrated leaflike hair like a nettle’s leaves. They have thin faces and defined cheekbones and slanted black eyes with the prominent pointed ears of most Fey. They prefer to be barefoot and have all of their weapons on their person.
Indirect Attackers
Thorns would attack anything that threatened other Fey. They prefer to sneak up on opponents and carry sleep arrows, which causes adversaries to fall into a slumber. They also have the ability to launch a sneak attack. When forced they will draw their namesake swords and launch a deceptively powerful attack.

Traits
Sneak Attackers
Trained in the art of sneak attack you deal an additional 1D8 damage to a Surprised creature. This damage does not stack with other instances of Sneak Attack damage.
Sleep Arrow
You are proficient with longbows and shortbows. Once per long rest you can use a bonus action to imbue an arrow with a sleep causing magic. A creature hit with this arrow must make a WIS save DC 8 + your WIS modifier (Minimum 1) + your Proficiency Bonus and on a failed save fall Unconscious until the end of their next turn or are dealt damage. Arrows imbued with magic this way lose their effect after being used or after one hour.
Thorn Sword
The namesake of your race, a deceptively powerful sword made of thorny plants. You can craft a Thorn Sword during the course of a long rest. The Thorn Sword is a magical +1 longsword that you are proficient with that deals an additional 1D4 Piercing damage on a hit.
