The spawn of Tiamat, lord of the First Layer of the Nine Hells. The lesser variations of Dragonspawn are able to coexist with societies and are small enough to blend in as well. They serve their dark goddess as they seek to bring her greater power.
Creations of a Dark Goddess
Descended from True Dragons, the Dragonspawn are the creation of Tiamat. They are the antithesis of dragons and Dragonborn associated with Bahumat. They serve her with deep loyalty and are predisposed to worship her. They are much alike Dragonborn but are more ferocious in form and mind, taking on more dragon-like features. They can be Black, Blue, Green, Red, or White much like her firstborn, the Chromatic dragons.
While their Greater variations have many forms to serve Tiamat the Lesser variants have only common forms that are compact and less dragon-like. Lesser Dragonspawn are able to coexist and infiltrate society and bring about destruction in the name of Tiamat wherever they are found.
Made for a Dark Purpose
Dragonspawn are designed by Tiamat with each having a purpose that their form and minds are built to fulfill. While the more extreme features are left from the Lesser variants they retain many of the features that lend themselves well to their purposes. They are born, given to cultists, or randomly hatched from Chromatic dragon eggs. They mature rapidly and go about serving Tiamat to the best of their ability.
Rise Through Trials
Much like how the Nine Hells function on a fundamental level, the Dragonspawn are ingrained to believe and live as a meritocracy. A weak Dragonspawn is a useless one. It is common for injured or insane Dragonspawn to be culled by other Dragonspawn whenever they are found. Everything to them is in order by who is most powerful though might or guile. Tiamat is the pinnacle followed by Chromatic dragons, then true dragons, Greater Dragonspawn, dragon-kin, Lesser Dragonspawn, then all other races and creatures.

Pack Tactics
You have advantage on attack rolls as long as you have at least one ally within 5 ft of you.
Unarmed Defense
Your scales offer you an unarmored defense of 10 + your DEX modifier (Minimum 1) + your STR modifier (Minimum 1).
Bite and Claw
You can use your claws and bite to make unarmed attacks. Your claws deal 1D6 Slashing damage and your bite deals 1D6 Piercing damage.
Draconic Hatred
You have disadvantage with Deception, Insight, Performance, and Persuasion checks while you can see a non Evil Dragon or Dragonborn. You have advantage on Intimidation checks while you can see a non Evil Dragon or Dragonborn. You deal an additional 1D6 damage with your unarmed strikes and melee attacks on non Evil Dragons and Dragonborn.
