Dreamer
Waking to a world that has long forgotten them, Dreamers allied with the Dwarves that unearthed their ancient vaults of slumber. Unsure of what memories they have are dreams or reality, Dreamers press on nonetheless and seek to live normal lives or uncover the mystery of their civilization’s demise and erasure from history.
Waking World of Nightmares
Before the Dwarves were the Elves and even older than the Elves was an empire lost to time from an unknown catastrophe. When the Dwarves later came and began digging deeper and deeper into the earth they uncovered vaults that held the comatose people later known as the Dreamers. The Dreamers now inhabit a world that they are completely unfamiliar with and to make things worse their self imposed slumber left them with fragmented memories of their pasts. Dreamers struggle with dreamlike memories of a world that may or may not exist that often contradicts the world they are now living in.
A Race Lost to Time
Dreamers look unlike any Race in the modern age. They have sleight builds and almost glowing alabaster skin. They have silver hair and dark colored eyes and have stonelike growths that look like feathers, stylized horns, or molding found on stone or wood that wrap tightly around their heads. On their cheeks are less pronounced growths that look like slightly raised spikes that trace their cheekbones.
True Friends of Dwarves
The noble and proud Dwarves that unearthed the Dreamers took them in and cared for them in secret. They taught them their language and many of their skills and helped them in their darkest hour. The Dreamers share an unbreakable bond of love and trust with Dwarves and their warm feelings are said to reach other less savory variants of Dwarves such as the Derro and Duegar.
