2 variants

Small Fey that loves treasure and pranks. Logherymen are more myth than reality and they like to keep it that way. They do as they see fit and go about on long roundabout journeys as they pursue whatever flights catch their attention as they dodge and skirt all responsibility and every consequence of their actions.

False Rumors and Information

Logherymen love to tell lies and the favorite subject of their deception is their own abilities and mythos. If one was to ask a Logheryman what they were capable of and believe them they would be seen as more powerful than a dragon, more wise than a lich, and capable of granting wishes like a powerful Jin. They love to spread tall tales, leading most to believe in an incredibly inaccurate mythos that is only exacerbated whenever another Logheryman seems to know the same “facts” verbatim as the rest of the kin.

Short and Cheerful Fey

Logherymen are a small people, standing only about 2 ft tall on average. They have pointed ears and noses. A little more than a quarter of all males sported beards. They usually have red hair and green eyes and a wide variety of skin colors. The clothing of Logherymen usually includes pointed shoes and pants and coats of browns, grays, or greens. Stocking caps or wide-brimmed hats were their two head coverings of choice.

Pranks and Pretty Gold

Logherymen love to play pranks and are prone to steal valuable trinkets from travelers. They especially love gold, and hoards of it could be found in every Logheryman abode. If an intruder stole their treasure, they would beg and bargain to get it back at any cost. They eat the same sorts of foods as humans. Most have a very strong weakness for fine wine, and many enjoy smoking pipes.

Most Logherymen are not very trusting of either humans or dwarves, finding both races to be too greedy, but they were on good terms with elves, gnomes, and halflings. In general, they would be cordial with strangers but never invite them to their lairs. If they found an injured person, such a one might be taken to a Logheryman lair for help but only if blindfolded and not followed.
