A humanoid that has been bitten by a creature inflicted with the Curse of Lycanthropy who has not fully turned. Lycancursed are not true or turned Lycanthropes, but walk the line between them. They are less affected by the Curse but still more so than the highly diluted Lycanthropic blood of Shifters. A rare Lycancursed is an Induced Lycanthrope who was created by magic but the spell or experiment failed to complete the process.
Resist or Embrace the Curse
Once infected with the Curse an individual must resist or embrace the Curse. If an individual resists the curse they maintain their humanity unless it is the day before, the day of, or the day after the Full Moon. One who embraces the Curse becomes more animalistic and begins to take on attributes of their animal self such as a Weretiger growing fangs and claws.
Animal and Hybrid Forms
A Lycancursed can take on an animal form at any time and a Hybrid form during the last 3 days of the Lunar Cycle or if they have been infected with the Curse for more than twenty years. As their true self ages so does their animal and Hybrid self. Lycancursed cannot spread the Curse at any point and find their transformations to be painful, especially into a Hybrid form.
Invaded by the Beast
Over time even the strongest willed Lycancursed will take on mental attributes and habits of their specific Beast. The Beast is of the same type as the origin Lycanthrope. A Wererat Lycancursed will develop hoarding habits and become avaricious for instance. If an individual chooses to resist the Curse these changes can take decades, whereas one who embraces the Curse they manifest these changes after their first three day Lunar Cycle.

You have been bitten by a not fully transformed “Were” creature giving you a state of suspended curse, not quite a full Lycanthrope and not quite a Shifter.
Dichotomy of Silver
You are Vulnerable to Silvered Weapons but Resistant to non silvered weapon attacks.
Shapechanger
You can use your action to polymorph into your associated animal or your hybrid form (See Animal and Hybrid Forms in race description), your proficiencies, and ability scores remain the same while changed.
