Quasit

The chaotic counterparts of Imps. Quasits are tiny demons that tempt those that dare summon them, promising them power as they urge them to greater acts of depravity. They are tiny schemers that serve those that will either grant them power or can be tempted to fall.

Tiny Shapeshifting Demons

Quasits stand somewhere between 1‒2 ft tall and weigh around 8 lbs. Their tiny humanoid forms have green skin covered in warts and pustules. Their tails are covered in barbs while their horns are spiky. Both their hands and feet are slender, with long, claw-tipped digits. They will take whatever form they choose to best suit their situation. They love to deceive and will use their powers to mess with their targets and wear down their psychies.

Deceitful Tempters

What a Quasit says is almost never what they mean. They breathe in truths and exhale lies. When not trying to tempt mortals to fall they spend their time wreaking havoc ranging from petty to devastating. They crave power in every form. While they are not very intelligent as a whole, they are very cunning. Unlike most demons, Quasits recognize their physical weakness and can be cowardly. They are almost unique among demons for their sense of self preservation and powerful drive to survive by any means.

They are commonly summoned by magic users and they quickly become trusted "servants" as they diligently guide their summoners to more and more power and greater acts of atrocity. In the end it is all to be the first to claim their souls as they are dragged into the Abyss.

Low on the Totem Pole

Quasits are usually under the service of a Demonlord or similar power. They are viewed as annoying children to other demons. They have to claw their way to the top or be forever used in the schemes of others. The only way Quassits usually have to move up in the ranks is to serve diligently and hope they survive long enough to outlive others and be given more power. If they think they can get something out of serving someone, they’ll do it and do it well.
