Vedalken

Always striving towards perfection both academically and inward, the Vedalken never cease in their pursuit of improvement. Almost obsessive in their drive to perfection, they are often had to deal with and very self absorbed in their studies and work.

Dispassionate and Steadfast

The defining trait of the Veldaken is their dispassion. Their minds, souls, and wills are steadfast and immutable. They are unshakable by most means of magical manipulation though that is not something they worked towards to combat spellcasters but a welcome byproduct of a millennia of training and learning and strict teachings.

Inscruitable and Amphibious

Vedalken are tall and slender, standing almost a head taller than humans but weighing about the same. Their hairless skin comes in a range of shades of blue. Their eyes are darker shades of blue or violet. They lack external ears, their noses are broad and flat, and they are partially amphibious. Most races find it very difficult to discern the moods of a Vedalken.

Tireless Pursuit of Perfection

Although they tend to be very private individuals, Vedalken love to talk, especially when it means they can learn something new. Most Vedalken are extremely passionate in their work, using every moment as an opportunity to move towards perfection. Due to their work ethic, curiosity, and intelligence they end up in labs, libraries, schools, and workshops.
