Biological Warfare

A Warlord that has studied chemistry and alchemy can become a student of Biological Warfare if they decide to cast away their useless sense of morals and chivalry. They use poison and disease to undermine the efforts and morale of the enemy while protecting those they fight with. The fall of many nations has been attributed to the campaign of a Biological Warfare Warlord.

Specific Tactics

Your Warlord Method opens a world of new tactics to crush your opponents and aid your allies. You can choose from the following Tactics in addition to previous ones.

Tactics

Student of Biology

You learn all about the natural world in order to defeat your enemies. You have proficiency with Alchemist's Supplies or the Poisoner’s Kit. You have Resistance to Poison damage.

Source of Blight

You have learned to bend your tactical mind to create various toxic effects. You can expend Tactical Dice to replicate the effects of spells and Poisons as long as you have Alchemist’s Supplies or your Poisoner’s Kit on you. Any Poison you make can only be administered through Injury or Inhalation and can be made one dose at a time that lasts for one minute.

Any spell effect you replicate has a spell save DC equal to 8 + your INT modifier (Minimum 1) + your Proficiency Bonus.

Lv 7

Greater Source of Blight

You hone your skills and can replicate more advanced effects and Poisons.

Carrier of Disease

You can cast the spell Flock of Familiars to summon a Swarm of Rats or Swarm of Insects once per long rest without expending a spell slot. When summoned this way you can expend the appropriate amount of Tactical Dice to imbue it with a Source of Blight that it releases when it hits zero hit points.

Lv 10

Superior Source of Blight

Your skills and understanding deepen still, leading to greater death and destruction.

Lv 15

Contaminated Strikes

Your experiments have tainted your weapons, fists, and Sources of Blight. You deal Poison damage equal to half your INT modifier (Minimum 1) rounded up on a melee or unarmed strike, or use Source of Blight feature.

Lv 18

Supreme Source of Blight

You become a walking plague of death and disease.

Pandemic

When a creature affected by a Source of Blight hits zero hit points within sight of you, you can use a reaction and cause it to erupt in a Source of Blight of the same effect or one that uses the same amount or less of Tactical Dice.

You can use this feature times per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).
