Summoner

Celestial

As a Celestial Summoner you have bargained with denizens of the upper planes. Bargaining with penitent souls, benevolent beings, and crusaders against darkness together they seek to bring about good and light. Fighting evil and culling evil Summoners is part of their agreement and desire.

Subclass Features

Lv 3

Speciality Spells

Your specialization and training grant you the following spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.

Summons

You have bargained with many creatures that will heed your call. You can expend a corresponding spell slot to summon a creature you have bargained with to aid you. They are summoned for one minute or one hour if you have your Summoner’s Circle active. Using this feature counts the same as casting a leveled spell of the School of Conjuration. If you call forth an additional Summon, the previous one vanishes back to their home plane.

They take their turns after your turn in initiative and follow reasonable orders but will not willingly endanger themselves. If you fall unconscious they remain for one turn, taking the dodge action their turn. If they drop to zero hit points they disappear and return to their native plane. Your summon does not have Legendary Resistances or Legendary Actions if it would normally have them.

Holy Circle

Your Summoner’s Circle is bathed in holy energy. When you create your Circle you can also cast the spell Sanctuary on yourself without expending a spell slot.

Lv 6

Chosen Emissary

You are blessed by your Summons. You can discern if a lie was told within 30 ft of you and learn two cantrips from the Cleric spell list.

Benevolent Summons

Your Summons help those around you when they are called. When you cast a leveled Conjuration spell or call forth a Summon you can cast the spell Aid without expending a spell slot as part of the action.

You can use this feature times per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).

Lv 10

Parting Balm

Your Summons now leave a healing message when they leave. When you dismiss a Summon you can cast the spell Mass Healing Word without expending a spell slot.

You can use this feature times per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).

Lv 14

Angelic Blessing

Your continued service of the Upper Planes has earned you a blessing. While you are concentrating a Conjuration spell or have a Summon out, you sprout white wings and have a Flying speed equal to your walking speed. Your wings shed Bright Light for 30 ft and Dim Light for 30 ft. Undead and Fiends within your Bright Light have a penalty to attack rolls equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).
