Demon

Meddling with chaos, Demon Summoners offer blood and violence to allow Demons to wreak havoc on mortals. Unfailingly they will claim the souls of those they slay to join them in the Abyss and will eventually claim their summoners if they are not careful.

Subclass Features

Lv 3

Speciality Spells

Your specialization and training grant you the following spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.

Summons

You have bargained with many creatures that will heed your call. You can expend a corresponding spell slot to summon a creature you have bargained with to aid you. They are summoned for one minute or one hour if you have your Summoner’s Circle active. Using this feature counts the same as casting a leveled spell of the School of Conjuration. If you call forth an additional Summon, the previous one vanishes back to their home plane.

They take their turns after your turn in initiative and follow reasonable orders but will not willingly endanger themselves. If you fall unconscious they remain for one turn, taking the dodge action their turn. If they drop to zero hit points they disappear and return to their native plane. Your summon does not have Legendary Resistances or Legendary Actions if it would normally have them.

Abyssal Circle

Your Summoner’s Circle is rife with chaotic and evil energy. While your Summoner’s Circle is active, whenever you are hit with an attack you can use your reaction to deal Necrotic damage equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1) to a target within 10 ft of you.

Lv 6

Demonic Resistance

The vitality of demonkind has permeated your being and infused you with demonic resistance. Once per long or short rest if you fail a saving throw you can use your reaction to reroll the saving throw and take the new result.

Ferocious Summons

Your Summon’s are empowered by your mutual hatred of light and peace. Your Summons have a bonus to hit equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).

Lv 10

Necrotic Backlash

Your Summons take full advantage of their demise to inflict as much pain as possible. When you dismiss a Summon it casts Inflict Wounds on a target within range of the spell for a Summon or within the spell’s range from you.

Lv 14

Berserk Summons

Channeling the Abyss for so long has further fueled the rage of your Summons. Your Summons deal an additional 2D6 Necrotic damage on a hit. You can use an action to further stoke this rage. For the next turn your Summons deal an additional 2D10 Necrotic damage instead.

You can use this feature times per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).
