Summoner

Fey

Those that bargain with the Fey are often not aware that they have struck a bargain and are unaware of the specifics or have painstakingly created altars and summoned their specific target and made ironclad agreements. Fey Summoners, more so than the rest of the Summoners have a relationship with the individuals that they summon.

Subclass Features

Lv 3

Speciality Spells

Your specialization and training grant you the following spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.

Summons

You have bargained with many creatures that will heed your call. You can expend a corresponding spell slot to summon a creature you have bargained with to aid you. They are summoned for one minute or one hour if you have your Summoner’s Circle active. Using this feature counts the same as casting a leveled spell of the School of Conjuration. If you call forth an additional Summon, the previous one vanishes back to their home plane.

They take their turns after your turn in initiative and follow reasonable orders but will not willingly endanger themselves. If you fall unconscious they remain for one turn, taking the dodge action their turn. If they drop to zero hit points they disappear and return to their native plane. Your summon does not have Legendary Resistances or Legendary Actions if it would normally have them.

Faerie Circle

Your Summoner’s Circle doubles as a Faerie Ring. You can make a prime Faerie Ring during the course of a long rest as long as you have your Calligrapher’s Supplies with you. Once per long rest you can teleport you and any willing creatures within 10 ft of your Summoner’s Circle to the prime Faerie Ring as an action. The prime Faerie Ring is then destroyed.

A prime Faerie Ring lasts for 48 hours or until you make a new prime Faerie Ring in which the previous one vanishes.

Lv 6

Sylvan Blessing

Your bargain has gifted you the boon of the Sylvan. You cannot be put to sleep by magical or non magical means and are Immune to the Charmed condition.

Fey Charm

Your Summon’s latent charm is momentarily bolstered when they are summoned. When you call upon one of your Summons you can cast the spell Charm Person without expending a spell slot.

Lv 10

Fey Trickery

Your Summons leave a little “present” for those that banish them to their home plane. When one of your Summons is reduced to zero hit points, roll 1D10 and target a creature within 5 ft of them as your Summon casts the corresponding spell on them. Any spell save DC is equal to your spell save DC.

Lv 14

Fey Meddling

Creatures that have the gall to challenge your Summons are further waylaid. Creatures Charmed by your Summons or affected by the Charm Person from your Fey Charm feature have any two of the following effects in addition to the Charmed condition.

They take 2D6 Psychic damage that does not provoke a saving throw to end the condition.

Their movement speed is halved for the duration.

They have a penalty to ability checks equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).

Anything the target says is either undecipherable or is phrased as a question (They cannot cast spells with a Verbal component).
