Draconic Magic

Draconic Magic Wizards were students of a very generous Metallic Dragon. They could have been their teacher, mentor, or a very relaxed and kind captor if they were fun to talk with. The dragon has taught them to weave Draconic magic in their spells to great effect.

Subclass Features

Lv 3

Dragon Teacher

Each teacher has its speciality and has shared some of their knowledge with you. You have a bonus to your spell save DC and attack bonus equal to half your CHA modifier rounded down for your correlating School of Magic. They also left you with a protective blessing that gives your Resistance to their elemental damage affinity.

Lv 6

Dragon Tongue

Your time with the highly charismatic alpha species has taught you the importance of a silver tongue. You gain +1 in CHA and gain proficiency with one of the following: Deception, Intimidation, Performance or Persuasion.

Lv 10

Draconnic Tactics

Your teacher taught you the art of fear that they use to undermine the efforts of lesser beings. You always have the spells Cause Fear and Fear prepared. You can cast them once each per long rest without expending a spell slot.

When you target a creature with the Frightened condition with a spell, the creature has a penalty to the spell saving throw equal to your CHA modifier (Minimum 1).

Lv 14

Dragon Mind

Your efforts allow you to emulate the mind of your teacher. You are Immune to being Charmed or Frightened and you cannot have your concentration broken on a spell. You subconsciously add draconic energy to your spells. Spells you cast that deal damage of your Dragon Teacher’s Elemental Affinity have a bonus to the damage equal to your CHA modifier (Minimum 1).
