Subclass Features
Speciality Spells
Your specialization and training grant you the following spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.
Tool Proficiency
You are gifted with visualising distances and scales along with paper based products.
You are proficient with Cartographer’s Supplies. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of Artisan's Tool of your choice.
When you craft Spell Scrolls, the time to make them is halved.
Adventurer’s Atlas
When you finish a long rest while holding your Cartographer’s Tools, you can create a set of magical maps by touching at least two creatures (One of which can include yourself), up to a number of creatures equal to 1 + your INT modifier (Minimum 1). Each target receives a magical map which constantly updates and shows the relative locations of all the map holders but is illegible to all others. The maps last until you die or until you use this feature again in which all previous maps vanish.
While carrying the map the holder has the following features
The target adds 1D4 to their initiative rolls
The target knows the exact position of all other map holders as long as they are on the same plane of existence. When casting a spell or creating an effect that requires being able to see the target, a map holder can target another map holder regardless of sight or cover, so long as the target is in range of the spell or effect’s range.
Mapping Magic
You can determine the positions of Invisible creatures and teleport short distances.
You can cast Faerie Fire without expending a spell slot. You outline the creature as if in ink. You can use this feature a number of times per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).
On your turn, you can spend an amount of movement equal to half your speed rounded down to teleport to an unoccupied space you can see within 10 ft of yourself or within 5 ft of a creature that is within 30 ft of you and is holding an Adventurer’s Atlas. You can’t use this feature if your movement speed is 0 ft.
Guided Precision
Once per turn, when you cast a spell from your Speciality Spell List or hit a creature affected with Faerie Fire with an attack roll, you can add your INT modifier (Minimum 1) to one damage roll of the spell or attack. Your Concentration for Faerie Fire cannot be broken by taking damage.
Ingenious Movement
When you use your Flash of Genius, you or a willing creature of your choice you can see within 30 ft of you can teleport up to 30 ft of yourself can teleport up to 30 ft to an unoccupied space you can see as part of the reaction.
Superior Atlas
Your Adventurer’s Atlas improves, gaining the following benefits
When a map holder would be reduced to 0 hit points but is not killed outright, that creature can destroy its map. The creature’s hit points instead change to a number equal to twice your Artificer level, and the creature is teleported to an unoccupied space within 5 t of you or another map holder of its choice.
If you are one of the map holders for your Adventurer’s Atlas, you can cast the Find The Path spell without expending a spell slot, without preparing the spell, and without needing spell components. You can use this feature once per long rest.
