Speciality Spells
Your specialization and training grant you the following spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.
Tool Proficiency
Your love of art runs deep. You gain proficiency with Painter's Supplies. If you already have this proficiency, you gain proficiency with one other type of Artisan’s Tool of your choice.
Painted Creation
You can use an action to cast the Minor Illusion spell, using your Painter's Supplies as the spellcasting focus, creating an image of an object. The object becomes real for 1 minute, until it takes or deals any damage, or until you use this action again.
If you create a weapon with this feature, you become proficient with it and can use your INT modifier (Minimum 1) in place of DEX or STR for attack and damage rolls.
Extra Attack
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn as your martial skills grow as you seek to defend your freedom to create works of art.
Critical Eye
Years of study have granted you great insight with regards to illusions. You have advantage on saving throws against visual illusions, and you can make an Investigation check to discern illusions with a visual component as a bonus action.
Illusory Manipulations
You learn unique tricks to manipulate your illusions and the illusions of others
You can use an action while holding your Painter’s Supplies to dispel an illusion within 30 ft of you that you have discerned as an illusion.
You can use an action while holding your Painter’s Supplies to modify an illusion within 30 ft to appear as what you choose as long as it is within the limits of the original spell. If you have discerned an illusion you can force the caster make a CHA saving throw DC equal to your spell save DC and on a fail you can modify their illusion as described.
When you use your Painted Creation feature, you can make the object more durable. It becomes real for 1 hour, and does not cease to be real when it takes or deals damage.
You can use this feature time per long rest equal to your INT modifier (Minimum 1).
Illustrated Figments
You can breathe life into your creations. You can use your Painted Creation feature to create a Beast of CR 1 or below. The creature is friendly to you and your companions. It understands your languages and obeys your spoken commands. If you issue no commands, the creature defends itself but takes no other actions but the Dodge action. The Figment is a Construct and is Immune to all conditions, Necrotic, Poison, and Psychic damage. If the Figment is reduced to zero hit points it fades away in a puff of mist.
You can also create an intelligent humanoid creature that is capable of speech in languages that you know. The Figment has a basic understanding of the creature and has advantage on Performance checks to pass as the target. A Figment created this way has the statistic of a Commoner and none of the abilities of the target.
You can use this feature once per long rest. If the Figment would vanish after one hour you can expend a first or higher spell slot and extend the duration of the feature for 30 more minutes.
