Dart Thrower

A Dart Thrower Gambler elevates a simple drinking game into a deadly attack. They craft darts of sophisticated design and devastating power. A Dart Thrower laughs at archers and crossbowmen who they deem are useless and scared. They excel in close-quarters and ranged combat, after all, you never know when one will be accused as a cheater.

Chance Totem Appearance: A Bullseye pin or brooch that seems to shimmer and slowly change.

Dart Effect
TrickA finicky dart with no use on the battlefield, but will give you advantage on using darts in controlled locations such as bars.
HeavyYour dart deals 1D6 damage but its range is halved and cannot be wielded as a Light weapon.
SeekingIf your dart misses your initial target you can roll to attack a target within range that is behind the original target as a reaction.
SoaringYour dart has double the normal range of a dart with large and intricate flights.
ViciousYour dart brutally shaped dart tip deals an additional five damage on a critical hit.
BarbedYour dart sticks into your targets and if it is removed as a free action during combat it deals 1D8 Piercing damage with its vicious barbs. It deals 1 Piercing damage at the start of each of their turns until removed.
InjectionYour dart has a fine needle attached in place of the normal tip with a clever plunger. It can hold the contents of an Antidote, Basic Poison, or Potion of Healing but has half the range.
FalseA dart with a sticky tip that deals no damage. However it is made of ceramic and will shatter upon removal dealing 1D4 Slashing damage and give the attacker a D4 penalty to their next attack. The sticky solution is irritating and if it lands on skin the target must make a WIS saving throw or try to remove it as an action.
BreakingThe dart is filled with small shards of glass and metal fragments. On a failed hit the dart crashes to the ground and forces all creatures within 5 ft to make a DEX saving throw taking 1D4 -1 Piercing damage on a failed save or half as much on a successful save.
DivingA heavy dart unsuitable for throwing. It can be dropped on a target within 10 ft of your position dealing 1D4 damage for every 10 ft it falls up to a maximum of 10D4 damage.
Arcane Dart Effect
HolyYour dart deals an additional 2D6 Radiant damage to Fiends and Undead.
UnholyYour dart deals an additional 2D6 Psychic damage to Celestials and Fey.
PoisonedYour dart forces a creature to make a CON saving throw and on a failure take 2D6 Poison damage and become Poisoned.
InkyYour dart bursts on contact dealing no damage but forces the target to make a DEX saving throw and on a failure are Blinded until the end of their next turn.
RevealingYour dart bursts into light revealing all Invisible creatures and objects within 30 ft of the point of impact. Creatures or objects revealed this way cannot become Invisible for one turn.
SmokeyYour dart begins to spew thick smoke from where it falls. It creates a 20 ft radius sphere of fog centered on a point within range. The sphere spreads around corners, and its area is heavily obscured. It lasts for one minute or until a wind of moderate or greater speed (At least 10 miles per hour) disperses it.
IceYour dart deals an additional 1D6 Cold damage and creates icy terrain for 20 ft from the point of impact hit or miss on the target that is Difficult Terrain that lasts for one minute.
FireYour dart deals an additional 1D6 Fire damage and leaves a burn that deals 1D4 Fire damage at the start of their next turn and ignites any flammable objects not being worn or carried.
WindYour dart deals an additional 1D6 Thunder damage and has plus 2 to hit as the wind guides it to its mark.
EarthYour dart deals an additional 1D8 Bludgeoning damage as the light dart hits harder than it should with hidden mass from the Plane of Earth.

Lv 3

Game Spells

Your chosen game grants you certain spells. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.

Craft Dart

During a long rest you can craft a variety of darts. You can craft darts up to your DEX modifier (Minimum 1) giving them each one of the following attributes. Each dart is unusable after being thrown with it vanishing after hitting or missing the target. If the dart has a saving throw the DC is equal to your spell save DC.

Specialized Combat

You have trained to use your darts as many have a dagger. Your darts are now considered Light weapons and are capable of use in melee attacks dealing 1D4 Piercing damage.

You have also learned to hide darts on your person skillfully. You can have eight darts on each thigh, four on each ankle, two on each wrist, and a belt hiding ten darts for a total of 38 darts on your person while appearing normal, requiring a DC 16 Perception check to tell if you are armed.

Lv 7

Craft Greater Dart

You learn to craft arcane darts that require a spell slot to produce them. You can have arcane darts up to your CHA modifier (Minimum 1) at a time that are considered magical weapons.

Quickthrow

You have mastered the art of rapid dart throwing. For the first turn of combat and if you are not Surprised you can make two ranged dart throws when you take the attack action.

Lv 15

Bullseye

Your accuracy has increased to an unprecedented level. You have a critical hit range of 19-20 and deal an additional 7 damage on a hit.

Conjure Dart

You have been filling a specialized pocket dimension full of darts and it is ready. You can use a free action to call a dart to your hand. You can call upon a dart you have created that is on your person or a conjure basic +2 dart. If one of these conjured darts leaves your person they vanish after one minute or if they hit or miss a target.

Lv 20

Inner Bullseye

You can pinpoint even the smallest of openings to deal massive damage. You have a critical hit range of 17-20 and deal an additional 14 damage on a hit.

Arcane Crafter

You can quickly create greater darts in a pinch. You can create Arcane Darts equal to half your CHA modifier (Minimum 1) rounded down as an action once per long rest.
