Subclass Features
Touch of Death
Your study of death allows you to extract vitality from another creature as it nears its demise. When you reduce a creature within 5 ft of you to 0 hit points, you gain temporary hit points equal to your WIS modifier (Minimum 1) + your Monk level.
Death’s Strikes
Those you strike are tainted with death. When you use Flurry of Blows, if at least one unarmed strike deals damage, that creature cannot regain hit points or temporary hit points until the end of their next turn.
Hour of Reaping
You gain the ability to unsettle or terrify those around you as an action, for your soul has been touched by the shadow of death. When you take this action, each creature within 30 ft of you that can see you must succeed on a WIS saving throw or be Frightened of you until the end of your next turn.
If a creature succeeds this saving throw, they are immune to its effects for 24 hours.
Dancing with Death
You use your familiarity with death to escape its grasp. When you are reduced to 0 hit points, you can expend 2 Ki points (No action required) to remain at 1 hit point instead. Each time you use this feature the next time you would fall to zero hit points, before your next long rest, you start with that many failed Death Saving Throws.
Touch of the Long Death
Your touch can channel the energy of death into a creature. As an action, you touch one creature within 5 ft of you, and you expend 1 to 10 Ki points. The target must make a CON saving throw, and it takes 1D10 Necrotic damage per Ki point spent on a failed save, or half as much damage on a successful one.
