Shadow
Harnessing the power of the Shadowfell these warriors excel in stealth and subterfuge. They are able to disappear into shadow and leap out. Assassins and spies, the Shadow Monk keeps the peace from the shadows. Some Monks can stray easily as they delve deep into the way of Shadows and become Dark Monks.

Shadow Arts
The power of the Shadowfell grants you the following abilities
You can spend one Ki point to cast the spell Darkness without expending a spell slot or material components. You can see within the area of Darkness and can move the area of Darkness up to 60 ft from you per turn.
You gain Darkvision 60 ft. If you have Darkvision your range increases to 120 ft.
You know the Minor Illusion cantrip and use your WIS score for your spellcasting ability.
Piercing Strikes
You imbue your unarmed strikes with negative energy from the Shadowfell. Your critical hit range becomes 19-20.
The first hit each turn deals Necrotic damage equal to half your Monk level rounded down or equal to your Monk level on a critical hit.
Shadow Step
You gain the ability to step from one shadow into another. When you are in Dim Light or Darkness, as a bonus action you can teleport up to 60 ft to an unoccupied space you can see that is also in Dim Light or Darkness. You then have advantage on the first melee attack you make before the end of the turn.
Improved Shadow Step
Your connection with the Shadowfell improves your Shadow Step. When you use your Shadow Step, you can expend one Ki point to remove the requirement that it needs to be in Dim Light or Darkness. As part of the bonus action you can make an unarmed strike after teleporting.
Cloak of Shadows
As a magic action while in Dim Light or Darkness, you can expend 3 Ki points and shroud yourself in shadows for one minute. This ends if you dismiss it (Requiring no action), become Incapacitated, or end your turn in Bright Light. You gain the following benefits
You become Invisible.
You become partially incorporeal. You can move through occupied spaces as if they are Difficult Terrain. If you end your turn in an occupied space you are shunted into the nearest unoccupied space.
You can use your Flurry of Blows without expending Ki points.
