Subclass Features
Connection Spells
The connection you formed ensures you always have certain spells prepared. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.
Barbarian Training
Your ancestor trains you in the ways of the Barbarian. You become proficient with Light armor, Medium armor, and shields and two of the following skills: Animal Handling, Athletics, Intimidation, Nature, Perception, or Survival.
Rage Spells
When you cast a leveled spell you can channel the rage of your ancestor. As a reaction you become Resistant to non magical Bludgeoning, Piercing, or Slashing damage and have advantage on STR saving throws for one minute or unless you become Unconscious or do not deal or take damage for a turn. While in this state you cannot cast spells or maintain concentration on spells.
You can use this feature times per long rest equal to half your WIS modifier rounded down (Minimum 1).
Blessing of the Shamanic Ancestor
Your ancestor blesses you greatly. You gain proficiency with STR or CON saving throws.
Extra Attack
You can attack twice, instead of once, whenever you take the Attack action on your turn as you are guided by your ancestor.
Brutal Rager
Your ancestor stokes your rage while under its influence. While using your Rage Spell feature you deal an additional 1D8 damage with your unarmed strikes and melee attacks.
Raging Critical
Your ancestor guides your strikes and blows. While using your Rage Spell feature you deal an additional damage die on a critical hit for your unarmed strikes and melee attacks. Your critical hit range is increased by one (19-20).
Lionheart Stand
Your connection allows your ancestor to take on flesh again for brief periods to aid you. You can use one action to summon your ancestor in the form of a Lionheart Stand that acts after your turn in initiative and acts according to your direction for one minute. The Stand takes the form of a stoic and muscled Barbarian wielding a massive great axe. If you fall Unconscious your Stand takes the Dodge action on each of its turns or you can use a reaction to dismiss the Stand and remain at one hit point.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
