Scholar
A Shaman that has connected with a grand Wizard. The ancestor lends their knowledge in the ways of the Weave. Those that connect with a Scholar ancestor tend to be introspective with a burning desire for knowledge and a love of magic. A Scholar Shaman’s magic is intertwined arcane knowledge.

Subclass Features
Connection Spells
The connection you formed ensures you always have certain spells prepared. You know the following spells and they do not count towards the number of spells you can prepare.
Wizard Training
Your ancestor trains you in the ways of the Wizard. You gain proficiency with two of the following skills: Arcana, History, Insight, Investigation, Medicine, or Religion. In addition your ancestor aids you with their arcane repertoire. You learn any two spells from the Wizard spell list up to a level of which you can cast; these spells do not count toward the number of spells you can know.
Arcane Spells
When you cast a leveled spell your ancestor lends you a portion of their arcane power. You can use a reaction to regain one spell slot of 1st or 2nd level.
You can use this feature once per long rest.
Blessing of the Shamanic Ancestor
Your ancestor blesses you greatly. You gain proficiency with INT saving throws.
Additional Wizard Training
You learn two additional spells from the Wizard spell list that do not count towards the number of spells you can know and must be up to a level of which you can cast.
Greater Arcane Spells
When you use your Arcane spell feature you can regain one spell slot of 3rd or fourth level.

Scholar Stand
Your connection allows your ancestor to take on flesh again for brief periods to aid you. You can use one action to summon your ancestor in the form of a Scholar Stand that acts after your turn in initiative and acts according to your direction for one minute. The Stand appears as a grand Wizard resplendent with spellbook, robe, and staff. If you fall Unconscious your Stand takes the Dodge action on each of its turns or you can use a reaction to dismiss the Stand and remain at one hit point.
