Titan

Titans have two goals and they consume them. Free themselves from their imprisonment by the gods and vengeance on their wardens and captors. They want to rule the multiverse. As they are imprisoned they cannot deal punishments unless they are released. Their boons change if they are released.

Astraeus, God of Dusk and the Winds (CE)

He created the transition from day to night and often “guided” mortals with finicky signs from the stars. Not many know of his evil whims and most of his followers know him as the Dawn Star, a beloved guide for mortals.

Imprisoned in a demiplane in the Deep Ether. The exact location of the prison is unknown. The Lord of Starlight slumbers, whispering commands to their followers from the Deep Ether.

Atlas, God of Rebellion and STR (LE)

A tragically honest and trustful Titan who was tricked into his position and has been released before but was tragically tricked again back into his inescapable prison. He seeks to escape but knows that his position is critical and will not abandon it without a replacement.

Imprisoned on the convergence point between the elemental planes of Air and Earth. After freeing him by taking his place you are promised that he will personally destroy the two planes that trapped him and throw the planes into disarray. You must first seek the Armor of Invulnerability so that you are not killed instantly by the pressure between planes. After he is free you are promised strength unbounded.

Clymene, Goddess of Renown, Fame and Infamy (CN)

She is an enigma, she is the least known of the Titans though for some reason her domains and personality were shifted when she was imprisoned. A fictitious and malicious story was propagated turning her from her previous divine portfolio and domains to her current one by an unknown entity of enormous power and influence.

Imprisoned in an unknown Domain of Dread in the Shadowfell. She knows that you must defeat the dread lord of the demiplane in order to free her.

Coeus, God of Inquisitive Minds and Intellect (N)

He was an immensely powerful Titan who helped overthrow his father and sired many of the gods including the estranged mother of Apollo and Artemis. He plays with beings of immense power even greater than his own with masterful precision with his plans and machinations spanning countless millennia.

No one knows this Titan’s prison’s location. Those that pact with him gain secret knowledge and crave to learn more. Whispers and disjointed dreams fill your mind as he directs you to prepare for his eventual release, leading you to the secret of his location.

Crius, God of Stars and Constellations (N)

Only his divine domains remain known even though they are relatively difficult to find out. Many gods banded together and tried to erase all traces of him to avoid his worship and any followers trying to free him.

Imprisoned in the Positive Energy Plane. Feared for his strength he was placed in the farthest reach of the god’s influence. Dark legends, meant to be forgotten, state that one must claim one of the elder Graecian god’s weapons in order to free him.

Kronos, God of Time (LE)

Kronos the eldest and most powerful titan is imprisoned in the mightiest prison in Carceri in a dream state where he fights each god in that state and only once he succeeds can he be freed. You hear whispers that this process can be speeded up if you whisper the true names of the current gods in his ear. But one must discover this forbidden knowledge and traverse the prison plane in order to do it.

Eos, God of the Dawn (N)

She is the most impulsive and passionate of the Titans having sired countless lesser titans and gods as well as demigods with her frequent flings with mortals. She is a wildcard and does whatever she wants within her own mysterious code of ethics.

Imprisoned in the Feywilds. Those that follow the purity and might of the sun pact with Eos. You are tasked with learning and gaining an understanding of the Fey and their plane in order to free him.

Hyperion, God of Light and Watchfulness (LN)

His reach and power was so immense that his children embody the might of the sun, moon, and stars that are all contained within the all powerful expanse of the heavens he represents. He is also known of the High One, one above even everpresent powers worshiped in their own right.

Imprisoned in the Negative Energy Plane. Feared for his strength he was placed in the farthest reach of the god’s influence. Dark legends, meant to be forgotten, state that one must claim one of the elder Graecian god’s weapons in order to free him.

Iapetus, The Piercer (CE)

He is the most warlike and bloodthirsty of the Titans which is saying a lot. He seeks to impale his enemies and leave them impaled in a bloody tribute to his power wherever he goes. He fights with the strength of a Titan and the ferocity of a Demonlord.

Imprisoned in the demiplane of ice. He is frozen in time alongside a now forgotten god who sacrificed themself to bind the Titan in place as they froze together. Dark legends, meant to be forgotten, state that one must claim one of the elder Graecian god’s weapons in order to free him.

Lelantos, God of Air and the Hunting Unseen (CN)

He is known as the One Who Goes Unobserved. Before and after his imprisonment he was a mysterious hunter who walked a lone path to hone his dreadful abilities for an unknown purpose.

No one knows where this Titan is imprisoned. You are tasked with honing your hunting and tracking skills in order to locate the missing Titan.

Menoetius, God of Violent Anger (CE)

Only second to Iapetus, he is a menace who enjoys inflicting pain and if he was any more powerful the age of the Titans may not have ended as he would have bathed the multiverse with the blood of the gods.

Imprisoned in Carceri. He is under maximum security one prison plane for his violent acts against god-kind.

Metis, Goddess of WIS (N)

She embodies the intellectual aspect of the divine realm. She was the original wife of Zeus and was prophesied to bear Athena and a child who would surpass and dethrone the king of the Olympic Pantheon.

Imprisoned in the plane Mechanus. Primus himself is said to be the holder of the key to their prison and that even their release is part of Primus’s plans.

Oceanus, God of the Sea (CE)

One of the first Titans who sired many of the other Titans. His name suggests that he was once a lifegiver who was worthy to name the ocean of the Upper Planes after him; however, he grew into a force of destruction that embodied the danger of the ocean in all its terrible glory.

Imprisoned in the Underdark. It is said a creature of near divine power guards the prison.

Ophion, God of the Earth (CN)

Unlike the rest of the Titans, Ophion is a titanic serpent of unimaginable size who was born from the Chaos from which all arose. He has ties to almost every plane in the cosmos with particular attention to solid planes such as the Elemental Plane of Earth, the Material Planes, and the Lower Planes.

Imprisoned in Hades. Only the Grey SIsters know exactly where and how to free him.

Perses, God of Destruction and Peace (CN)

He is a being whose diametrically opposed domains still affect the Weave itself even while imprisoned. Areas of Wild or No Magic that do not have a historical reason for their existence are likely created from the imperfect seal on his prison or are sacred sites where he had walked.

Imprisoned on Mount Celestia. You know that you must obtain The Talisman of Ultimate Good and Universal Solvent in order to free him. Domiel the Tome Archon is the warden of the prison.

Phoebe, Goddess of Fear (CN)

While she did not participate in the war between Titans and gods, her mere existence merited her imprisonment as the source of all fear, even the fears that undermine the gods themselves.

Imprisoned in the Abyss. The location is drifting through the infinite levels. It is said that the blood of two certain Demonlords can be combined to create an elixir that will provide a dream of madness that shows the location of the Titan.

Prometheus, God of Change (CN)

He is arguably the most famous or well, infamous of the Titans. He has a particularly awful prison on account of his enabling humankind to surpass the gods and cease to rely on them. While it is known that he gave mankind fire it is debated if it was simply a sample of godly fire or the releasing of an Elder Evil or Primordial of fire that he used.

Imprisoned in the Elemental Plane of Fire. Everyone knows his location. But no one can break the chains and stone that bind him or defeat the elder Phoenix that feasts on his innards then regenerates him.

Styx, Goddess of the River Styx (NE)

She was the first to support the gods in the Titan war and even though she paved the way to the god’s victory her inherent evil nature and having her essence tied to the River Styx lead to her imprisonment for the safety of the mortal plane.

Imprisoned in the Nine Hells. Only a certain Yugoloth knows her location and requires a steep price for the information and more to ferry you to the location.

Themis, Goddess of Law (N)

She was the second wife of Zeus and embodies not just the essence of Law but founded many parts of law such as time, order, and peace. While mostly benign her presence was too dangerous to allow to exist alongside the united gods.

Imprisoned in Pandemonium. Auril the Frostmaiden is rumored to have a clue as to the prison’s whereabouts.
